Crochet Puff Stitch

Posted By admin in Knitting and Crocheting

Puff Stitch Demonstration.
The multiple is 2 plus 4. That just means that it takes 4 chains to start off the pattern and there are two chains for each pattern stitch that you want in your project. The “plus” amount for any pattern is just a one time thing, at the begining of the work. The “plus” amount is not repeated.

Just copy and paste the link below in your search engine. YouTube does not allow live links in many places.

Posted By admin in Woodworking

Part 5 in the series where John W. Nixon from Eagle Lake Woodworking builds an Arts and Crafts Style Pool table.

This 11 minute video focuses the Corbels of the leg system. The design of the corbels is discussed and the techniques used to create them are shown in detail.

The corbels add to the authentic look of the Arts and Crafts style legs.

This video covers:

The design of the corbels.

Application of veneer on a curved surface.

Pattern routing.

Lamination techniques.

The quartersawn white oak veneer selected for the corbels looks great, and the corbels turned out looking like a thick solid piece of oak.

Quartersawn white oak gives this Mission Style pool table an authentic Arts and Crafts look.
